This is just horrifying, my stomach has been in a knot all day. I hope that anyone who is injured or stranded will be able to make it to safety.

Too bad the old men at Studio Ghibli don't use twitter. But I expect the majority of the people in the anime/game industry to be okay since most of them are centred in Tokyo (where only some shaking was felt, and mostly minor urban damage). I'm more worried about manga artists who live outside of Tokyo in suburban and rural areas.

Same here. I really want to hear from Oda and Aoyama the most and Im worried they haven't checked in yet. I know Oda lives in Tokyo so I hope he and his family are ok.
