Yukari Tamura, Yui Horie Join Ben-To Anime Voice Cast

The official Twitter account for the Ben-To television anime series confirmed on Sunday that Yukari Tamura and Yui Horie are joining the voice cast. The announcement was made at the event held in Tokyo on Sunday to celebrate the October 8 premiere.

Asaura's original light novels revolves around a poor high school student named Yō Satō. Satō goes to the supermarket one day and discovers a bentō (boxed meal) on sale at half price. Just as he reaches to grab it, he ends up on the floor unconscious. Satō has just entered the fierce, no-holds-barred "supermarket survival battle" for half-price bentō. (The anime staff promises that every episode will have at least one battle scene.)

Tamura and Horie will play twin Sawagi sisters Kyō and Kyō. (Their given names have different kanji characters, but are pronounced the same.) Their paired attacks have earned them the alias "Orthros" after the two-headed hellhound brother of Cerberus/Kerberos from Greek legends.
