Maaya Sakamoto, Shinichiro Miki Join Nisemonogatari Cast

The official website for the anime adaptation of NisiOisin's Nisemonogatari novel confirmed on Saturday that voice actress Maaya Sakamoto and voice actor Shinichirō Miki are joining the anime's cast as Shinobu Oshino and Deishū Kaiki, respectively. Ryoko Shiraishi and Saori Hayami will also appear as Yozuru Kagenui and Yotsugi Ononoki.
NisiOisin's original novel is set in the early 21st century as a sequel to another NisiOisin story, Bakemonogatari. It centers around the "Fire Sisters" Tsukihi and Karen Araragi. (played by Yuka Iguchi and Eri Kitamura). The anime will premiere in Japan on January 7.
The publisher Kodansha, the production company Aniplex, and the anime studio Shaft are collaborating on the new anime. Akiyuki Shinbo (Bakemonogatari, Puella Magi Madoka Magica) is directing, and Akio Watanabe (Bakemonogatari, The World God Only Knows) is designing the characters. The young female singing duo ClariS and the composer ryo (supercell) are contributing the ending theme song Naisho no Hanashi."
