Watch Demon Slayer's Natsuki Hanae Yell Out Tanjiro's Moves While Playing Monster Hunter World: Iceborne

posted on by Kim Morrissy

Popular voice actor Natsuki Hanae is a skilled Monster Hunter World veteran with a Hunter Rank of 126. He has a YouTube channel where he posts videos of himself playing Monster Hunter World and other games. One of his latest video shows himself and his friends playing as sword users in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne in an attempt to emulate Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba's Demon Slaying Corps. During the battle against a Beotodus, Hanae yells out the name of Tanjirō's abilities, although this amusingly does not help him much.

A Demon Slayer fan made a highlight reel of amusing moments from the video on Twitter:

Another hilarious moment happens at the start of Hanae's video, when he notices that everyone is wielding a sword. One of his friends tell him, "We really admire the Demon Slaying Corps." An exasperated Hanae replies: "You guys have never watched my anime in the past, but now you're watching Demon Slayer? Thanks a lot."

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba premiered on April 6. Haruo Sotozaki (Tales of Zestiria the X, Tales of Symphonia the Animation) is directing the anime at ufotable (Fate/Zero, Kara no Kyoukai, Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu). ufotable is also credited for the scripts. The series will get a sequel film, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha-Hen (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Train Arc).
