Singer, voice actress to hold two performances at Hawaii Convention Center

The 14th Annual Honolulu Festival has announced that voice actress and former UNDER17 singer-songwriter Halko Momoi will perform at the March 14–16 event at Honolulu, Hawaii. Momoi sang and co-wrote the UNDER17 duo's theme songs for such anime as Genshiken and DearS. She has since performed solo and appeared on the soundtrack for D.C. ~Da Capo~ and School Days. She has also voiced anime characters such as Komugi in The SoulTaker and Nurse Angel Komugi, Chika in Ai Yori Aoshi, and Maromi in Paranoia Agent. She became famous through her online journal and street performances at Tokyo's Akihabara otaku shopping district.

Momoi will hold two half-hour performances at the Hawaii Convention Center: the first on March 15 at 11:00 and the second on March 16 at 2:30 p.m. She first performed in the western hemisphere at Anime Expo 2007 in Long Beach, California.
