Pan Tachibana's erotic comedy novels inspires show from Yosuga no Sora staff July 6

A commercial for the Dakara Boku-ha, H ga Dekinai. (So, I Can't Get Erotic.) television anime series began airing in Japan. Like the first promotional video, the 29-second commercial features the opening theme song "Reason why XXX" by the winner of the 3rd All-Japan Anison Grand Prix singing contest, Sayaka Sasaki (The Book of Bantorra, My Ordinary Life).

The anime adapts Pan Tachibana's erotic comedy light novels of the same name. A young man named Ryōsuke (played by Hiro Shimono) struggles to regain his "erotic spirit," which he lost by making a contract with a beautiful Goddess of Death named Risara (Aya Endo). Ryōsuke cannot enjoy himself while the two live together; because of his contract, he can no longer become excited by watching girls — causing him to wonder if his adolescent days are over.

Takeo Takahashi (Yosuga no Sora) is directing the series at the anime studio feel. while fellow Spice and Wolf/Yosuga no Sora alumni Naruhisa Arakawa is in charge of the scripts. Character designer Kanetoshi Kamimoto (Yosuga no Sora, Burst Angel) is adapting Yoshiaki Katsurai's original novel illustrations.

The anime will premiere on July 6.

Update: The video has a brief scene of frontal nudity that is NSFW. Thanks, NeD88 and TC-man.
