Voice Actress Mie Sonozaki Announces Divorce

Voice actress Mie Sonozaki (Strike Witches' Gertrud, Kingdom's Yang) announced on her blog on Monday that she has divorced. Sonozaki had been married since November 2008.
The actress noted that her current relations with her ex-husband are "very favorable." Sonozaki and her husband were work partners before they married, and she remarked that they have returned to their old relationship as friends. Sonozaki emphasized that her husband and his family are good people who always treated her well. Sonozaki clarified that the reason for their split after four-and-a-half years was something like the couple realized they were growing apart.
Sonozaki's voice acting roles have included Vividred Operation's Crow, Gantz's Sei, and Happy Lesson's Hazuki. She has also performed theme songs for anime such as Sakura Taisen: New York NY., Strike Witches, and Happy Lesson Advanced.
