Macross' Kawamori, Ghibli Composer Hisaishi Work on Phantom of the Kill Maker's RPGs

Fuji&gumi's newest also has Street Fighter II composer, voice actress Yōko Hikasa, Elements Garden

Fuji & gumi Games, the collaboration between Fuji Startup Ventures and gumi that released the Phantom of the Kill game, announced during Tokyo Game Show 2015 on Thursday that it is developing two new games titled For Whom the Alchemist (Ta ga Tame no Alchemist) and Shinobi Nightmare. Fuji & gumi Games' subsidiary gumi gear 2nd and Jun Imaizumi is planning, developing, and producing both games for iOS and Android.

For Whom the Alchemist will be a tactical role-playing game centered on seven characters and themed around the seven deadly sins. It will feature 3D battles and four-player multiplayer support. It will feature an anime opening movie directed by Shōji Kawamori (Macross series, The Vision of Escaflowne). Yoko Shimomura (Street Fighter II, Kingdom Hearts series) is composing the game's music, as well as its theme song, while Yōko Hikasa (who plays the role of Agatha in the game) will perform the song. The game is slated for release this winter.

Fuji & gumi Games debuted the game's promotional video, which previews the game's story, gameplay, and theme song.

Shinobi Nightmare will be a dungeon exploration "Taiga" RPG that features young kunoichi (female ninja) who draw power from samurai of the past to face their enemies. The game features 3D graphics. Alfa System (Ore no Shikabane o Koete Yuke, Gunparade March) is also involved with the game's development. Joe Hisaishi (My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, The Wind Rises) will compose the game's main musical theme, while Elements Garden will compose the theme song and character songs. The game will feature an anime opening movie directed by Keitaro Motonaga (Katanagatari, Date A Live). Cannes Film Festival award-winning creative studio Koo-Ki designed the character previews. The game is slated for next Spring.

The idol group Dempagumi.inc. also appeared in Fuji & gumi Games's stage event to perform their song "Phantom of the Truth," which is used as the theme song for Fuji & gumi Games' Phantom of Kill game.
