JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4's April 1 Premiere, New Visual Unveiled

Visual shows first glimpse of Yukako Yamagishi character

The official website of the television anime adaptation of Hirohiko Araki's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable (JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken: Diamond wa Kudakenai) manga announced on Friday that the anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on April 1 at 24:30 (effectively April 2 at 12:30 a.m.), as well as on MBS, TBC, BS11, and Animax. The site also unveiled a new visual for the anime (seen below), which reveals the character Yukako Yamagishi for the first time.

The cast and the character visuals for their respective characters include:

Yūki Ono as Jōsuke Higashikata (his Stand, Crazy Diamond, is also shown)

Wataru Takagi as Okuyasu Nijimura

Takahiro Sakurai as Rohan Kishibe

Daisuke Ono as Jōtarō Kūjō

Takagi is reprising his role from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven video game. In the game, Hiroshi Kamiya voices Rohan Kishibe, Wataru Hatano voices Jōsuke Higashikata, and Romi Park voices Kōichi Hirose.

A second promotional video for the anime will debut on March 21 with three different versions. The video will stream on the official website a few days later.

The website previously streamed the first promotional video introducing the show's setting and story.

Narrator: 1999, Japan. M prefecture, S city, Morioh town. Originally serving as a bedroom suburb for S-city, it has developed at a rapid pace since the late 1980s.
Narrator: The town has a population of 58,713. This town, which at first glance had nothing unusual about it, experienced a bizarre incident. 81 missing persons since the start of 1999. Far more than would be common in any other town like it in Japan.
Narrator: This story is about that town.
Jōsuke: Huh? Did something happen here?
Jōsuke: Crazy Diamond.
Jōsuke: Huh? What does this mean?
Tomoko: Jōsuke! What are you standing around there for? Your friends are waiting for you!
Jōsuke: Yeah, yeah, I'm just about to go.
Okuyasu: Hey, Jōsuke. What were you doing?
Kōichi: Good morning, Jōsuke.
Jōsuke: Hey, Kōichi. 'Morning.
Okuyasu: I asked what you were doing!
Jōsuke: This guy's great.

THE DU will perform the anime's opening theme song, titled "Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town." The song's CD single will ship on April 27.

Part 4 of the manga is set 11 years after Part 3 in S City in M Prefecture of Japan, and the story follows the misadventures of Jōsuke Higashikata and his companions.

The JoJo's Bizarre Adventure television anime aired from October to April 2012, and covered the first two parts of the manga. The manga's Part 3 inspired another television anime project from April to September 2014, and from January to June 2015.
