Pre-order opened: Eyeshield 21–Devil Bats HQS by Tsume

Apr 25th 2013
This weekend, Tsume will attend the Cartoonist fair in the French city of Nice. At this occasion, we will reveal the painted prototype of our HQS by Tsume statue of the Devil Bats team from the Eyeshield 21 manga created by Yusuke Murata & Riichiro Inagaki. It is now available for pre-order on www.tsume-art.com and partner shops.

Limited & numbered to 400 pieces, this new resin statue introduces a new franchise our HQS by Tsume collection: Eyeshield 21. Meet Yôichi Hiruma–the sadistic and charismatic leader of the team, Ryôkan Kurita-the gigantic lineman (defensive tackle/center) and Sena Kobayakawa, Deimon's running-back whose nickname entitled the manga: Eyeshield 21!

Each one of the three characters is pictured in a pose which translates his position and its temper: Himura, a grin on the face, seems to be giving his instructions to his mates while Kurita uses his stature to protect Sena who is obviously running like a bat out of hell! This gorgeous statue will include two different heads for Sena, with or without the helmet!

The whole statue is very dynamic and Sena seems to be gushing from the base. The sculpt is full of details and the paint has very vivid colors. This emphasizes the living impression of each character. Uniforms are also very detailed, with lots of shades and subtle gradients.

Of course, if ordered on Tsume's website, Eyeshield 21 - Devil Bats HQS by Tsume is available with a four times installments on Paypal.
