Lotto 1st Place Winner Goes to Work Too Webtoon Gets Live-Action Series Adaptation

Korean streaming platform TVING has officially greenlit the production of Lotto 1st Place Winner Goes to Work Too, a new live-action series based on the webtoon/web novel of the same name. The comedy workplace series will have 10 episodes.
The story centers on Eun-tae Gong, a modest and unremarkable office employee who unexpectedly wins first place in the lottery. Rather than quitting his job, he continues reporting to work — now armed with the emotional insurance of a life-changing jackpot. The series follows how his new mindset affects his relationships, career, and sense of purpose in an all-too-familiar office environment.
Actor Jun-hyuk Lee has been cast in the lead role as Eun-tae Gong. He is joined by Hyun-woo Seo, who will play Assistant Manager Yang, a senior colleague whose jealousy and rivalry add tension and humor to the workplace dynamic.
The original web novel, written by In-ha Seo, was serialized between 2019 and 2020 on Naver Series. A webtoon, drawn by Geuk-jo Yoo, has been serialized since 2024 on Naver Webtoon.
Currently, an official English version of both the webtoon and web novel is not available.
