Gundam W Voice Quintet Reunite for Dinner Show With Newly Written Script

The cast members of the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing series confirmed during the anime's August 9 "Operation Fukuoka" stage event that they will be holding the 30th Anniversary Dinner Show -Operation Reunion- on December 27. The dinner show — the first-ever in the entire Gundam franchise — will feature voice actors Hikaru Midorikawa (voice of Heero Yuy), Toshihiko Seki (Duo Maxwell), Shigeru Nakahara (Trowa Barton), Ai Orikasa (Quatre Raberba Winner), and Ryūzō Ishino (Chang Wufei).
The dinner show will offer a special menu inspired by the series, a live dubbing of well-known scenes from the original anime series by the cast, a talk show with the cast, and an exclusive live stage reading of a brand-new script. Guests to the dinner show will also receive a souvenir gift bag. As of press time, the staff has not specified what will be in the gift bag.
The Gundam Wing 30th Anniversary Dinner Show -Operation Reunion- will take place at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo Ballroom in two sessions (daytime and evening) on December 27. The daytime show's doors open at 12:00 p.m., with the show actually starting at 1:00 p.m. The evening show's doors open at 5:00 p.m. with the show starting at 6:00 p.m.
Ticket cost between 38,500 to 55,000 yen (about US$261 to US$372), and are available through random drawings. Gundam Fan Club Premium members can enter the drawing between August 9 at 6:00 p.m. to August 24 at 11:59 p.m. Japan time. The general entry period for the drawing is August 9 at 6:00 p.m. to September 7 at 11:59 p.m. Japan time.
