Jump Force Game Launches in Japan on February 14

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins

This year's 48th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that Bandai Namco Entertainment will release its Jump Force crossover game on February 14 in Japan.

Spike Chunsoft is developing the game, which will launch on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on February 15 in the West. Those who pre-order the game will get a new Dragon Ball lobby vehicle and three costumes. The game's collector's edition in Europe will feature a diorama, three art boards, and a steelbook case. The game will include playable characters from Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, Bleach, Hunter X Hunter, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Yu Yu Hakusho, Saint Seiya, Fist of the North Star, and City Hunter.

Light and Ryuk from Death Note will also appear in the game. Dragon Ball's Akira Toriyama designed some original characters for the game, and Polygon reported last month that players will be able to create their own avatar characters in the game. The game's season pass will allow players to access nine additional characters.
