New bonus extras featured in 3 idol rhythm games set at resort music festival

Namco Bandai Games began streaming an updated version of its third promotional video last week and three new commercials on Tuesday for the [email protected] Shiny Festa PSP games. The videos preview the new anime footage being created for the three games and the bonus extras offered. Director Atsushi Nishigori and his team at A-1 Pictures are returning from The [email protected] television series for the new anime episodes, which will each run about 23 minutes long.

The first release of the games will include a "backstage pass" that allows buyers to log into the limited premium shop site, a product code for "The world is all one!!" song, and a serial number for obtaining an exclusive Haruka Amami idol card in the separate Idolmaster Cinderella Girls game.

Unlike most of the previous [email protected] titles in which players manage the careers of aspiring idols characters, the upcoming games will be in the "idol rhythm" genre. During a music festival at a southern resort, the characters will perform live concerts as idols and even as a band (complete with instruments). The games will have new animated footage and new songs.

Each Shiny Festa game will feature a different set of idols from the fictitious studio 765 Pro. [email protected] Shiny Festa: Honey Sound will include Chihaya Kisaragi, Haruka Amami, Ritsuko Akizuki, and Azusa Miura in the anime "Music in the world" with the song "Vault That Borderline." [email protected] Shiny Festa: Funky Note will feature Yayoi Takatsuki, Hibiki Ganaha, and Iori Minase as well as Ami and Mami Futami in the anime "Music is a friend" with the song "Visionary." [email protected] Shiny Festa: Groovy Tune will have Miki Hoshii, Yukiho Hagaiwara, Makoto Kikuchi, and Takane Shijou in the anime "Music of love" with the song "edeN."

The games will ship in Japan on October 25.
