Ice cream shop chain Cold Stone Creamery announced on Thursday that it will launch a collaboration with the Yuri!!! on Ice anime on September 25. The collaboration will offer three types of "Yuri!!! on Ice Cream" treats.
The three treats inspired by Yūri, Victor, and Yuri will be made with Cold Stone Creamery Japan's Coolly's frozen dessert drink. The "Yūri Katsudo on Ice" dessert is a sweet version of katsudon (pork cutlet bowl), Yūri's favorite food. Each novelty set will cost 1,000 yen (about US$9), while the desserts without the special serving containers will cost 700 yen (US$6).
People who purchase the frozen treats will also be able to buy exclusive collaboration merchandise at the chain's ten participating shops.
The campaign will debut in advance at three Cold Stone locations in Tokyo on September 25. The collaboration will launch at the seven remaining locations throughout Japan on October 3 and run until October 31.
