Legend of Zelda Cover Album Will Octo-Rock Your Socks Off

A new mini-EP is putting a new spin on classic songs from The Legend of Zelda video game franchise. Joel Kent (no known relation to Superman) is bringing his guitar and metal chops to create Octorock: The Zelda Metal album with covers of "Lost Woods" from Ocarina of Time, "Stone Tower" from Majora's Mask, "Dragon Roost Island" from Wind Waker, and "Ballad of the Sky Goddess" from Skyward Sword.
Octorock was released through Seattle-based record company Materia Collective. The company has also released the orchestral Symphony of the Night cover album Resurrection of the Night, the video game and Christmas music hybrid album Scarlet Moon: Christmas Volume II, the Sins of Hyrule album by Rozen, a Sonic the Hedgehog remix album, and many others.
Kent previously released the 10-track album Weird Space last year.
