Nicole Fujita Headache Medication Commercials Get Manga Version

Arax's Norshin Pure pain relief medication is a well known over the counter drug in Japan. It's commonly used for every day ailments like headaches and menstrual cramps. Recently, Arax hired on model Nicole Fujita (romanized as Nikolu) to appear in a live-action commercial for the product titled "Pure Nikolun Consultation Room."
In the ads, Fujita appears as a school nurse and prescribes Norshin Pure and advice to a student who come in complaining of abdominal pain and even heartache. The campaign has also solicited questions via Twitter, and participants asked for advice about topics ranging from trouble studying, confidence issues, and motivation.
Fujita's turn as a character as a nurse and therapist is inspiring a manga campaign too, with art by Tina Yamashina. The web manga follows a second-year high school girl named Rin who comes to Fujita's office for romantic advice.
The manga will be published outside of the website in Kodansha's November issue of ViVi fashion magazine that will be released on September 22 and in the November issue of Kadokawa's Popteen fashion magazine that will be released on October 1.
Yamashina serializes Moshimo Romance in Kodansha's Feel Young magazine after it previously debuted in Shodensha's Zipper fashion magazine.
Nicole Fujita won 2015 Yahoo! Japan Searches' model award and previously danced along with Pikachu for the 2015 Pikachu Outbreak event.
