NIS America Confirms Disgaea 5, Localized Atelier Ayesha Plans

NIS America confirmed plans to localize Gust's Atelier Ayesha ~Tasogare no Daichi no Renkinjutsushi~ role-playing game at its Anime Expo panel on Saturday. Atelier Ayesha is the latest in Gust's Atelier role-playing game series. The game shipped in Japan on Thursday. NIS America localized most of the previous games in the series, including Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice Of Arland which shipped on May 29.
NIS America will announce further plans for their release of Atelier Ayesha in the coming 3-4 months.
The company also announced plans to make Disgaea 5. Nippon Ichi's series of comedic strategy role-playing games take place in a fictional universe called the Netherworld. They've spawned four console mothership titles, the spin-off Mukai Kingdom, and the PSP Prinny hack-and-slash games. The series has also been adapted into an anime in 2006 and multiple manga series. The latest game in the series, Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten shipped in North America on September 6, 2011.
