1st Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Film Casts Channing Tatum in English Dub

Crunchyroll announced on Monday that the English dub for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle - Akaza Sairai, the first film in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle trilogy, has cast actor Channing Tatum (Magic Mike, 21 Jump Street) in the film as Keizo along with Rebecca Wang as Koyuki.

The English dub's returning voice cast inlcude:

Crunchyroll, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Aniplex will screen the first film in theaters, including IMAX and other premium large screen formats, in the United States and Canada on September 12. The film will screen in Japanese with English subtitles and with an English dub.

The first Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle film opened in Japan on July 18. The film played on 443 screens (a franchise record) throughout Japan, including IMAX screenings. Outside Japan, Aniplex aims for the new film to play in over 150 countries and regions, which is wider than the franchise's previous world tour of over 145 countries and regions.

The film has sold 12,558,582 tickets for 17,639,557,600 yen (about US$119.3 million) in its 17 days at the box office. It has also surpassed the 2003 Bayside Shakedown 2 film, and is now the #10 highest-earning film of all time in Japan.
