Nothing beautiful about bad animation. The problem with both ChaO and All You Need Is Kill is the ugly character designs and that's really the heart of the animation, and purposely making them ugly is just bad and does not deal in good faith with anime fans who go to anime over other entertainment mediums precisely because of the beauty of set, background, action, and character designs that set Japanese anime apart.

Character designs/art style != animation style.
