Tezuka's Crater in English Gets 280+ Pre-Orders on Kickstarter

Kansai Club Publishing's Kickstarter campaign for the English release of Osamu Tezuka's The Crater manga has over 280 preorders as of Sunday. Kansai Club is only publishing 2,000 copies of the short story collection. The manga has not previously been published in English.
The Crater is a collection of 17 short stories by Osamu Tezuka that originally ran in Akita Shoten's Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in 1969-1970.
Kansai Club's release would have been published regardless of whether the US$3,500 Kickstarter goal was met or not. The company is instead offering free t-shirts to all customers who pledged US$35 or more if 1,000 preorders are reached. If 1,500 books are preordered, the company's next Kickstarter campaign will include 2 different books.
