Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! Reveals 2018 Series Ranking

The 2018 edition of Takarajimasha's Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! (This Light Novel Is Amazing!) guidebook reported its list of the top light novel series on Saturday. As with last year, the category is divided between bunkobon (smaller A6-sized books) and tankōbon (larger B6-sized books).

The bunkobon rankings include:

Kirito from Sword Art Online topped the list of male characters, and Mikoto Misaka from A Certain Magical Index topped the female characters list.

Kiyotaka Haimura (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? On the Side: Sword Oratoria, A Certain Magical Index), abec (Sword Art Online), and Kurone Mishima (Konosuba - God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!) topped the list of illustrators.
