The July issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine revealed on Wednesday that Hiroki Yagami will end the Tokiwa Bowl no Megami-sama (The Goddess in Tokiwa Bowl) bowling manga in the August issue on July 6.

The manga focuses on a bowling alley on the brink of failure. Kaede Tokiwa is struggling to revive the place when she meets Tokio Asahina, a boy with a mysterious air about him. Yagami launched the manga in May 2017, and Kodansha published the manga's second volume on February 16. The third volume will ship on June 15.

Yagami ended his Dear Boys Overtime manga in Monthly Shonen Magazine in January 2017. Yagami launched the manga in February 2016 as a sequel to the long-running Dear Boys manga. Kodansha shipped the third and final compiled volume in February 2017. The epilogue manga tells the stories of different characters after the events of the main Dear Boys Act 3 manga.

Yagami launched the first Dear Boys manga 1989 and ended it in 1997. The series has 40 million copies in print. The Dear Boys: The Early Days prequel manga followed from February to May 1997. Yagami launched Dear Boys Act 3 in December 2008 and ended it in December 2015.

The manga inspired a 26-episode television anime series that premiered in Japan in 2003. Bandai Entertainment released the anime (retitled as Hoop Days) in English in 2005.
