The official website for P.A. Works' Iroduku Sekai no Ashita kara. (so many colors in the future what a wonderful world, or lit. From the Color-Changing World's Tomorrow) anime project began streaming the second promotional video on Thursday. The video lists additional cast members, the theme song artists, and the musical composer.

The additional cast members are:

The two-women folk rock band Haruka to Miyuki is performing the opening theme song, and Nagi Yanagi is performing the ending theme song. Yoshiaki Dewa (Flying Witch, Kino's Journey - The Beautiful World) is scoring the music.

The anime will premiere in October in the Animeism programming block on the MBS, TBS, and BS-TBS channels. It will also stream exclusively on the Amazon Prime Video service inside Japan and overseas (except in China).

The website also debuted a new main visual featuring Hitomi, a girl who lost her sense of color, and her grandmother Kohaku (in her 17-year-old form in the present day).

The story takes place in Nagasaki in a world where a small amount of magic remains in everyday life. A descendant of mages, 17-year-old Hitomi lost her sense of color at a young age and grew up lacking emotion. Her grandmother Kohaku, a great mage, sends Hitomi to the past, to the year 2018. There, she spends time with a 17-year-old Kohaku and friends from club activities.

The anime will star Kaori Ishihara as Hitomi Tsukishiro, Kaede Hondo as Kohaku Tsukishiro, and Shōya Chiba as Shō Aoi. (Note: Name romanizations are not confirmed.)

Toshiya Shinohara (A Lull in the Sea, Black Butler, The Book of Bantorra) is directing the anime. Yuuko Kakihara is in charge of the series scripts. Yuki Akiyama (GLASSLIP, Charlotte) is serving as chief animation director and adapting character designs by Fly (Kemono Friends: Welcome to Japari Park) for animation. Infinite is producing the work. Other staff members include:
