Yu-Gi-Oh's Kazuki Takahashi, Other Jump Artists Draw Marvel Superhero Manga Shorts

Marvel Comics and Shueisha announced on Tuesday that they are collaborating to publish a biweekly series of seven manga short stories on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ manga website, starting on Wednesday and lasting until November 27. The one-shots and their respective authors include:
"Gag Reel" (September 18) by Hachi Mizuno ("Akuten Wars")

"Interview with Heroes" (October 2) by Ken Ogino (Lady Justice)

"Samurai" (October 16) by Sanshirō Kasama and Hikaru Uesugi (Tsugihagi Quest)![]()
"Halloween Avengers" (October 30) by Mato (Darling in the Franxx four-panel spinoff)

"Antman+" (November 13) by Toyotaka Haneda (Vocchi-men)

In addition, Takeshi Sakurai drew a manga portrayal of the planning meeting between the Shonen Jump+ editors and Marvel Comics editor-in-chief C.B. Cebulski.
Kodansha previously held its Magazine "Marvel" Manga Award for its Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2017 and 2018. The contest accepted submissions of one-shot manga stories using Marvel Comics characters, with the winner serializing their story. Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima served as judge for last year's contest.
