Azuki Announces New Partnerships and Licenses from Sozo Comics, Glacier Bay Books, and Star Fruit Books at Anime NYC

NEW YORK, NY — At their Anime NYC panel on Sunday digital manga subscription service Azuki announced a new partnership with SOZO Comics, including new simulpub and catalog titles, along with new licenses from publishers Glacier Bay Books and Star Fruit Books to distribute more of their critically acclaimed indie manga on the platform.

SOZO Comics is a digital manga publisher that works directly with Japanese comic authors to create new series. SOZO Comics is bringing 10 series to Azuki including simulpubs Enchanted Racer, ZAN, Egwin & Friends, and Fade-Away Bunny. These simulpubs will have new chapters available roughly every one or two months. SOZO is also providing a number of completed series including Marin, Shin Henkei Shoujo, Prince of Lan Ling, The Warrior Demigods: Champions of Sparta, The Most Tsundere Boss in History, and Guardy Girls. All SOZO Comics titles are now available to read on Azuki.

In addition to the SOZO news, Azuki also announced two new titles from their partners at Glacier Bay Books and Star Fruit Books: boys love one-shot When Pink Rain Falls from Star Fruit Books and surreal teen romance Rabbit Game from Glacier Bay Books are also now available on Azuki.

“I'm very excited to have SOZO Comics titles on the wonderful manga platform Azuki,” said SOZO Comics CEO Hiroaki Ikegami. ”I'm very happy to be working with the team at Azuki and I'm sure Azuki will be loved by manga fans all over the world! All the members of SOZO Comics are grateful for the Azuki team's support.”

“With these new series from SOZO Comics, Glacier Bay Books, and Star Fruit Books, fans can now explore an even wider variety of manga available on Azuki, including our very first BL title, When Pink Rain Falls,” said Azuki Marketing Director Evan Minto.

As is the case with most of Azuki's catalog, many of these series will have select chapters available for free with advertisements, allowing users to sample over 190 series on the service for free. For just $4.99 per month users can sign up for a Premium account and read the entire catalog with no ads. A 30-day free trial is also available. All titles are available worldwide (except Japan) in English.

Azuki is available on the web at Azuki.co, as well as in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. Readers can stay up to date on the latest announcements by following Azuki at twitter.com/ReadAzuki, facebook.com/ReadAzuki, and instagram.com/readazuki.
