True, Lupin spends a lot of this special sitting and waiting, but it (mostly) pays off by the end. One of the stronger Lupin specials. |

| Macross Frontier (TV) | Decent | A good effort to combine different elements from the Macross franchise, while weaving a story reminiscent of the original series. Yoko Kanno's soundtrack, while not her strongest work, is still excellent and helps make this that much better, it being somewhat music-driven. The pacing and execution is somewhat lacking, however, leaving the structure and unfolding conspiracy and conclusion to it awkward and unsatisfying. That, and the questions left unanswered by the end, leave this entry behind some of the stronger ones, like the original or Plus, but overall a fairly enjoyable watch. |
