posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Series premieres on October 5

The official website for the television anime of Nio Nakatani's Bloom Into You (Yagate Kimi ni Naru) yuri manga began streaming a second promotional video on Thursday. The video previews Riko Azuna's opening theme song "Kimi ni Furete" (Touched by You).

The show will premiere on October 5 on AT-X, Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, TV Aichi, TVQ Kyushu, and BS11.

The cast includes:

Yūki Takada as Yuu Koito

Minako Kotobuki as Touko Nanami

Ai Kayano as Sayaka Saeki

Taichi Ichikawa as Seiji Maki

Makoto Katō (Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-) is directing the anime at TROYCA (Aldnoah.Zero, Re:CREATORS). Jukki Hanada (Sound! Euphonium, Love Live!, A Place Further Than the Universe) is supervising and writing the scripts. Hiroaki Gohda (Amagami SS, Love, Election and Chocolate) is designing the characters. Michiru Oshima (Fullmetal Alchemist, Little Witch Academia, Night is Short, Walk On Girl) is composing the music.

Voice actresses Yūki Takada and Minako Kotobuki are performing the ending theme song "hectopascal" as their respective characters.

Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in North America, and it describes the story:

Yuu has always loved shoujo manga and awaits the day she gets a love confession that sends her heart aflutter with bubbles and blushes, and yet when a junior high classmate confesses his feelings to her...she feels nothing. Disappointed and confused, Yuu enters high school still unsure how to respond. That's when Yuu sees the beautiful student council president Nanami turn down a suitor with such maturity that she's inspired to ask her for help. But when the next person to confess to Yuu is Nanami herself, has her shoujo romance finally begun?

Nakatani launched the manga in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh in April 2015. Kadokawa published the manga's fifth compiled book volume on January 26, and will ship the sixth volume on September 27. The manga has more than 700,000 copies in print in Japan. Seven Seas Entertainment shipped the manga's fifth volume in English on August 14.
