Magic User's Club's Complete English Dub Offered in Stereo for 1st Time

North American licensing company Nozomi Entertainment announced on Tuesday that its upcoming release of the Magic User's Club (Maho Tsukai Tai!) original video anime (OVA) series will include stereo audio for the entirety of the anime's English dub for the first time. Some of the episodes in Media Blasters' previous release of the series only had mono audio. The Japanese audio will also be in stereo.

Nozomi describes Magic User's Club:

Beginning as a 6-episode OVA in 1996, the series tells the story of robotic alien invaders and a group of teenage witches that rise up to defend Earth. The OVA was followed by a 13-episode TV series in 1999.

Junichi Sato (ARIA The ANIMATION, Sailor Moon) directed the anime at Triangle Staff (Macross Plus, Serial Experiments Lain) and MADHOUSE (Cardcaptor Sakura, second Hunter x Hunter television anime, Magical Warfare).

Nozomi Entertainment plans to release the entire Magic User's Club anime franchise this spring on DVD with English subtitles and an English dub track. Media Blasters previously released both the OVA series and the television series on VHS video tape and DVD in North America.
