Tiger & Bunny Film Dishes at Namjatown Previewed

Tokyo indoor theme park sells food items based on Sunrise anime series

Tokyo's Namco Namja Town has announced (pdf) that they will serve a menu inspired by the Gekijō-ban Tiger & Bunny -The Beginning- film from August 3 to November 18 of this year. Namja Town is an indoor theme park in Tokyo's Ikebukuro ward with dozens of mini shops. As they have done for other anime and game titles in the past, these shops will have different dishes inspired by the Tiger & Bunny series.

Gekijō-ban Tiger & Bunny -The Beginning- is the first of two Tiger & Bunny films by Sunrise, and its plot will by a "hybrid" — it will cover not just the same story content as the previous television series, but also untold, behind-the-scenes stories.

Customers who purchase from the menu receive a free "premium sticker" with each dish. The complex also plans to feature special Tiger & Bunny photo sticker booths, and will sell limited edition Tiger & Bunny NAMJATOWN passports.

The complex previously ran a campaign for the Tiger & Bunny television series until this May, and some items from the campaign will be making a return. Its Bakemonogatari/Nisemonogatari menu wrapped up on July 8.

Namja Town already held similar campaigns last year for the television return of Gintama, the opening of the Macross Frontier: Sayonara no Tsubasa film, the opening of the Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos film, the opening of The Prince of Tennis: Eikoku-shiki Teikyū-jō Kessen! film, the debut of Squid Girl Season 2, the premiere of the Persona 4 television anime series, The IDOLM@STER anime, and the K-ON! film.
