Sakura-Con Announcements

The following acquisitions were announced at their respective panels Saturday:

Bandai - Zegapain

FUNimation - Hell Girl (aka Jigoku Shoujo, season 1)

Geneon made no new licensing announcements. They did show snippets of Black Lagoon and When They Cry (aka Higurashi no Naku Koro ni). They also showed off the prototype box for Rozen Maiden and the steel case for Black Lagoon and Hellsing Ultimate Two. They'll be re-releasing some of their old Pioneer titles as box sets to include Tenchi Universe, Tenchi in Tokyo and the three Tenchi Muyou movies. They'll be splitting up other titles that were originally released only as box sets to include 3x3 Eyes and El Hazard.
