Jin sets drama record; Nodame Cantabile specials, Shin-chan film re-air

The television drama adaptation of Motoka Murakami's Jin manga aired on December 20 at 9:00 p.m. as the #1 drama of the week. The final 79-minute episode earned a 25.3 rating — the highest rating not only of the series, but of any drama series this season.

Nodame Cantabile in Europe, the live-action television specials based on Tomoko Ninomiya's Nodame Cantabile manga, re-aired on December 18 at 10:00 p.m. and on December 19 at 9:00 p.m. and earned a 16.0 and a 15.5, respectively. Nodame Cantabile Saishū Gakushō (Nodame Cantabile: The Final Score), the first film in a two-part theatrical finale, opened in Japanese theaters on December 19.

The Crayon Shin-chan: Arashi wo Yobu Mōretsu! Otona Teikoku no Gyakushū film also re-aired on December 18 at 7:04 p.m. and earned a 10.0 rating.
