Tamayura's 1st episode to be previewed on Japanese TV on Sunday

The official website for the Tamayura video anime series has begun streaming a 15-second commercial on Friday. Tamayura is the third "healing anime" directed by Junichi Sato (Kaleido Star, Princess Tutu) after Aria and Umi Monogatari ~Anata ga Ite Kureta Koto~. The commercial features the opening theme song "Yasashisa ni Tsutsumareta Nara" by Maaya Sakamoto.

Sato created this story which introduces Fū "Potte" Sawatari, a high school freshman girl who enjoys photography. Fū moved to Takehara, a quiet city nestled between Japan's Seto Inland Sea and the mountains of Hiroshima Prefecture. In this city where her late father grew up, Fū begins her new life and makes new friends.

The first Blu-ray Disc/DVD volume will ship on November 26, after the first episode has an advance showing on the AT-X television channel on Sunday. Tamayura's website will begin streaming another video next Friday.
