The 2009 film One Piece Film Strong World aired on Fuji TV on Saturday, January 12 at 9:00 p.m. and earned a 10.0% rating. The 19th live-action movie based on Juzo Yamasaki's Tsuri Baka Nisshi ("Diary of a Fishing Fool") manga aired on TBS on Wednesday, January 9 at 9:00 p.m. and earned a 5.1% rating.
The live-action Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo: Hong Kong Kyūryū Zaihou Satsujin Jiken (Kindaichi Case Files: The Hong Kong Kowloon Treasure Murder Case) special based on Seimaru Amagi's Kindaichi Case Files manga aired on NTV on Saturday, January 12 at 9:00 p.m. and earned a 14.8% rating.
