Shin-chan returns; Dokidoki! Precure, Hunter x Hunter stay in top 10

The 1996 live-action adaptation of Tetsu Kariya and Akira Hanasaki's Oishinbo manga aired on TV Tokyo on Tuesday, April 23 to commemorate actor Rentarō Mikuni, who starred in the film as Yuzan Kaibara. Mikuni, who also played the lead role in the Tsuri Baka Nisshi (Diary of a Fishing Fool) live-action films, passed away on April 14. The re-airing earned a 2.5% rating.

The third episode of the live-action drama Soratobu Kōhōshitsu (Public Affairs Office in the Sky), based on a novel of the same name by Toshokan Sensō/Library War novelist Hiro Arikawa, aired on TBS on Sunday, April 28 at 9:00 p.m. and earned an 11.6% rating.
