The Twitter account of Takanori Nishikawa, the singer also known as T.M. Revolution (Takanori Makes Revolution), announced just after midnight on New Year's Day that he will release his 10th original album, the first in four years. The new album is currently untitled, but is slated for release on March 25.
His nationwide tour, T.M.R Live Revolution '15, will start in April and will span over 47 Japanese prefectures in five months before ending in September. The tour will feature songs from T.M. Revolution's newest album.
Nana Mizuki and T.M. Revolution performed a duet for the Kōhaku Uta Gassen (The Red and White Song Contest) on New Year's Eve. Kōhaku Uta Gassen has aired every New Year's Eve on NHK since 1951, and features two teams of leading musicians in Japan that year, battling it out by song.
T.M. Revolution debuted in 1996 and since then has performed several songs for anime shows and video game openings such as:
- "Heart of Sword - Yoake Mae"- Rurouni Kenshin
- "Invoke"- Mobile Suit Gundam Seed
- "Resonance"- Soul Eater
- "HOWLING" apart of abingdon boys school- Darker than Black
- "Preserve Rose" duet with Nana Mizuki - Valvrave the Liberator
"Cloud Nine" was the last full-length original album he released as T.M. Revolution in April 2011.
