Aquarion Gets Sōsei no Aquarion Love Crossover Anime & Stage Play

Sōsei no Aquarion & Aquarion Evol voice casts combine; Aquarion play follows Nobunaga The Fool

In addition to the Aquarion Logos television anime, the Aquarion 10th Anniversary event at AnimeJapan 2015 unveiled the brand-new Sōsei no Aquarion Love original video anime and a stage play on Saturday.

Sōsei no Aquarion Love is set in the spring of 1966. Shin Tsukishima, who is travelling to get a crystal radio, meets Yuno Kawazu, a girl crying on a beach in Izu. Shin and Yuno are guided by the Book of Genesis and meet each other halfway. The boundaries between three worlds begin to distort.

At the Neo Diva Academy, Amata and other Element candidates reassemble to prepare for a new battle. When souls that transcend dimensions gather, a new myth flows through the skies of Showa-era Japan.

Several cast members from Sōsei no Aquarion and Sōsei no Aquarion EVOL are reuniting for Sōsei no Aquarion Love, although some have different character names:

A 10th Anniversary stage play, Hito Natsu no Aquarion (One Summer's Aquarion), will open in Japan as the second of "The Fool" hybrid live theater entertainment projects, after Nobunaga the Fool. An Aquarion 10th Anniversary event will be held on June 28 at Tokyo's Shibuya Kōkaido. The cast from all three Aquarion television anime will appear, and Akino with bless4 will perform a special live stage concert. In addition, two free Aquarion exhibitions will run in Tokyo's Suginami Animation Museum from May 27 to June 19 and from July 18 to September 27.

The Aquarion Evol Blu-ray Box will go on sale on June 24 with new packaging art, drama CD, artbook, a compiled volume of the previous BLu-ray Disc booklets, and about 103 minutes of bonus video extras.
