Travis Willingham Ignites Fan Fervor at Tekkoshocon

February 28, 2012 (Pittsburgh, Pa) - Tekkoshocon is pleased to announce Travis Willingham as the final addition to its tenth anniversary slate of voice actor guests.

Hailing from Texas, Willingham works in both live action and voice acting. In addition to portraying Flame Alchemist Roy Mustang throughout both Fullmetal Alchemist series and movies, he is also well known to fans as Takashi Morinozuka (Mori) from Ouran High School Host Club, Yu Kanda in D.Gray-man, Ginko in Mushi-Shi, and Herman Salza in Blassreiter among a host of other anime roles. Video game fans will recognize him as the current voice of Knuckles the Echidna in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and Guile in the Street Fighter franchise.

Willingham joins previously announced guests Todd Haberkorn, David J Fielding, Kevin McKeever of the Robotech tour, Mega Ran, exist†trace, and SoundWitch. They will participate in Q&A panels, autograph sessions, and other programming throughout the convention. Tekkoshocon opens on Wednesday, March 21 with an evening of screenings and games at the Hollywood Theater in Dormont. The convention then moves to the Wyndham Grand Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh for four full days from Thursday, March 22 through Sunday, March 25. Preregistration for entry to Tekkoshocon X is available at a discounted rate of $45 via the tekkoshocon.com webpage through February 29, 2012.
