Ika Musume 2's 2nd BD to Bundle Squid Girl's Bamboo Boat (Updated)

Mini Ika Musume figure can ride "Black Tiger" leaf boat from episode 4

The commercial for the 2nd Shinryaku!? Ika Musume (Squid Girl 2) Blu-ray Disc volume revealed that the volume's first edition will bundle the "Black Tiger" bamboo leaf boat. The boat, which the title character Squid Girl makes herself, is the center of one of the storylines in the fourth episode of the ongoing anime. The episode also has Squid Girl attempting to "invade" English after she meets a foreigner.

As the commercial notes about the boat, "the Mini Ika Musume [figure] can ride it! *Figure sold separately." The official YouTube channel for the anime streamed the commercial on Monday, but it has since restricted the video to private use.

Based on Masahiro Anbe's manga, the anime follows the story of Squid Girl (Ika Musume), who comes out of the sea to make humanity pay for polluting the ocean. However, two pushy girls force her to work at a restaurant to produce squid ink. Squid Girl must overcome the bossy waitresses before she can complete her goal of conquering humankind.

Like the first Squid Girl season, Crunchyroll is streaming the second season into several countries as it airs in Japan. Media Blasters shipped the first season on DVD in North America on September 27.

Update: The commercial was reloaded without restrictions:

Despite the name of the video, the boat only comes with the first edition of the Blu-ray, and not with the DVD version.
