Madoka Magica's Homura Alarm Clock Gets 112,000-Yen Bid

A talking alarm clock with the voice of Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime character Homura Akemi received a final auction bid of 112,000 yen (about US$1,470) on the Yahoo! Japan website on Saturday.
The clock can wake you up by speaking your own name with the voice of Homura actress Chiwa Saito. The LAWSON chain of Japanese convenience stores offered just 20 of these clocks as the tier B prize in its second Madoka Magica giveaway campaign last year. (Another 20 clocks has the voice of Kyubey, Emiri Katō.)
According to the clock's seller "ccfhw204," a name has not been inputed into the clock, so anyone can use it. The clock says in Japanese, "Um…Please hurry and wake up! Uh…It's already morning!"
