EVA Air Discontinues Hello Kitty Flights to Los Angeles
posted on by Bamboo Dong
If you've been wanting to fly on the Hello Kitty jetliner, your trans-Pacific options will dry up as of October 27. EVA Air, which operates a small fleet of Hello Kitty airplanes, has announced that they will be discontinuing their LAX-Taipei Hello Kitty jet service.
The route was introduced just last September, with a maiden voyage that even included X Japan rockstar Yoshiki.
Hello Kitty fans will still be able to enjoy EVA Air's Hello Kitty-themed flights between Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Guam, but they'll have to make the oceanic trip without the luxury of Hello Kitty toilet paper and themed food items.
