Banpresto's Ichiban Kuji prize lottery line revealed its first set of "Pokémon Research" prizes on September 1. The line's first batch of goods showcases Magnemite (known as "Coil" in Japan) and its evolution family, which includes Magneton and Magnezone.

Here are the prizes:

A Prize
Magnemite Plush

B Prize
Big rubber key holders (five varieties)

C Prize
Plates (eight varieties)

The Last One Prize will be a variation of the A Prize plush with a different eye expression.

People who participate in the lottery will also be able to use their prize ticket stubs to enter the Double Chance Campaign for another chance to win one of 30 A Prize plushes.

The Magnemite prize lottery will debut at book stores, hobby shops, game centers, and Pokémon Centers in Japan on September 23. Prize tickets will cost 620 yen (about US$6) each.

The second set of Pokémon Research lottery prizes will feature the Pikachu imposter Mimikyu and will debut on November 25. Similar to the Magnemite line, the A Prize will be a Mimikyu plush.

Ichiban Kuji conducted a fan poll to choose another Pokémon to feature in the line in 2018. Voting went from August 8 through September 7, and Ichiban Kuji will announce the results in mid-September.
