Tamagotchi Plaza Game's Switch 2 Trailer Showcases Exclusive Shops

Bandai Namco Entertainment streamed a new trailer showcasing the Nintendo Switch edition of the Tamagotchi! Plaza game on Saturday. The Switch 2 edition of the game will feature three shops with mouse controls, the "Sushi Shop," the "Shuriken Shop," and the "Sushi Shuriken Shop," bringing its total number of shops to 15.
Tamagotchi! Plaza will launch for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in Japan on June 26 and globally on June 27. People who buy the Switch version can upgrade to the Switch 2 version with the three additional shops by purchasing an upgrade pack.
The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York inducted Tamagotchi! (1996) into the World Video Game Hall of Fame.
Nintendo released the new Switch 2 console worldwide on Thursday.
