Take a Guided Tour of Karakuri Circus French Locales With Anime Voice Cast

posted on by Kim Morrissy

Karakuri Circus is getting a guided tour with the anime's voice acting cast in August. Kazuhiro Fujita's high-octane manga series about circus tricks and alchemy gone wrong is partly set in France, which is where the five-day tour will take place. The journey will start in Paris and take participants to Mont St. Michel in Normandy. Fans will be guided around the area and participate in "special fan meetings" with the voice actors Chihiro Ueda (who plays Masaru Saiga) and Nozomu Sasaki (who plays Guy Christophe Rech).

The tour is being organized by travel company H.I.S, and will take place from August 7 to 11. It costs 423,800 yen (US$3,786) to go via the standard class, and 438,800 yen (US$3,920) for the superior class. Participants will sleep in rooms of two, and extra charges are involved for those who want to sleep alone. Applications via H.I.S's website are open between April 15 to 21.

The Karakuri Circus anime series is an adaptation of Kazuhiro Fujita's manga of the same name. Studio VOLN, the same animation studio that adapted Fujita's Ushio & Tora manga, is animating the series. The anime premiered on Amazon and Tokyo MX in Japan on October 10, and the series is streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime in Japan and overseas.
