Digital Manga Tool Clip Studio Paint Distributes Free Software to 10,000 Texas Schools

Free six-month versions of the digital manga tool and illustration software CLIP STUDIO PAINT will be distributed to 10,000 Texas schools from October 23, 2019 to June 30, 2020.

CLIP STUDIO PAINT developer Celys is working with the non-profit Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA). Licenses will be provided through Graphixly LLC., CLIP STUDIO PAINT's official distributor.

Regarding the collaboration, TCEA Executive Director Lori Gracey said, “This partnership opens up a world of possibilities for Texas students. Having high-quality creative software like CLIP STUDIO PAINT Debut allows students to learn in engaging ways that help develop a number of skills at once, from learning the basics of technology use to the rudiments of art and design."

CLIP STUDIO PAINT is a graphics software for illustrations, comics, and animation. It is favored by digital manga artists, and is used as an industry tool in game and animation studios as well as universities and vocational schools. The software was first released in 2012 under the name "CLIP STUDIO PAINT Pro."
