Morning Musume '15 to Perform PreCure All Stars: Spring Carnival Theme Song
posted on
The official website for the upcoming film Eiga Precure All Stars: Haru no Carnival (Precure All Stars the Movie: Spring Carnival) announced on Monday that idol group Morning Musume '15 will perform the film's theme song. The Precure characters will sing the song, titled "Ima Koko Kara," during the film, marking the first time a Precure film has used a song by an outside artist.
Three of the group's members—Haruna Iikubo, Ayumi Ishida, and Sakura Oda—will play fairy characters based on themselves in the film. All three grew up watching Precure.
The film's ending credits will include scenes of the idol group dancing along with the Precure and children chosen from around Japan. This will be the first time a Precure ending sequence, which normally features CG-animated dancing, will also include live-action.
Like the six previous Precure All Stars films, the film will feature the characters from all Precure television series. In the story, the Precure visit Harmonia, the country of song and dance.
Junji Shimizu will direct the film, Mio Inoue will write the screenplay, and Yasuharu Takanashi will provide the soundtrack. The film is slated to open in Japan on March 14.
