The official website for the Attack on Titan anime began streaming a full trailer for Shingeki no Kyojin Kōhen ~Jiyū no Tsubasa~ (Attack on Titan Part II: Wings of Freedom), the second compilation film of the television anime, on Wednesday. The video begins with an entire unedited scene, around one minute long, from the film, and it also previews the film's theme song "Jiyū no Daishō" (The Price of Freedom) by Linked Horizon.
Man: Humanity will take another step forward! Show me what you can do!
Man: Open the gate!
Man: Forward!
Erwin: We begin the 57th expedition beyond the walls!
Man: Advance!
Hange: 10-meter class, closing from the left flank! I'd love to poke around inside its stomach, but I'll have to let the support team handle it!
Man: Damn!
Man: That was close! Defend the column!
Man: Do not waver! Leave it to them!
Man: Keep moving forward!
Annie: I didn't use my own strength to throw you. Learning to use your opponents strength against them is just a skill I learned to protect myself.
Mikasa: Give Eren back! Give him back!
Erwin: Fire!
Armin: Someone who saw Eren transform into a Titan.
Eren: That's a Titan's...
Erwin: Even if we make our best laid plans, we will never outsmart the enemy. We must be prepared to lose everything.
Armin: Unless you can throw away something of yourself, you can't change anything. To overcome monsters, you have to throw away even your humanity. Those who can do that will win!
Eren: Why are you fighting? Why?!
Mikasa: There's no choice. It's a cruel world out there.
Eren: I'll destroy you. I'll kill you. Just move. Don't try and end this with pretty words. The world is cruel.
The official website also announced that the "Jiyū no Daishō" theme song will begin playing on the Nippon Broadcasting System radio station's Mu~Comi+ program starting on Friday, 12:00 a.m.
Advance tickets for the film went on sale on November 29. The first round of tickets comes with a bonus B2-size poster of Eren and Levi:
The second round of tickets went on sale on April 18, and comes with a clear file with either the main visual or Erwin and Levi.
The first film, Shingeki no Kyojin Zenpen ~Guren no Yumiya~ (Attack on Titan Part I: Crimson Bow and Arrow), opened in Japan on November 22, and the end announced that the second film will open on Saturday. (The films are named after Linked Horizon's popular opening themes for the television anime.) The second season of the television anime will follow in 2016.
The films feature new dubbing and a 5.1ch remaster with returning voice cast members such as Yūki Kaji (Eren Jaeger), Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa Ackerman), and Marina Inoue (Armin Arlelt). The first film covers episodes 1 through 13 of the television anime, while the second film will cover 14 through 25. Director Tetsuro Araki is again helming the anime at Wit Studio with composer Hiroyuki Sawano.
