Luck & Logic Streams 7th 'We Are Luck & Logic Club' Anime Short
posted on by Kyle Hallmark
The official YouTube channel for the Luck & Logic franchise began streaming the seventh episode of the "Watashi-tachi, Rakuroji-bu!" (We Are the Luck and Logic Club!) short anime series on Saturday. The one-minute anime series is airing before each full Luck & Logic TV anime episode.
The anime short features the three high school girls in the Luck and Logic Club discussing deck construction. Ronri and Unne try to teach Ado about the importance of building decks around cards that she likes, but she thinks that every card is cute. In the end, Ado is unable to choose a favorite card, but the other girls think her indecisiveness is fine because it's very Ado-like.
The anime stars:
- Yuka Ozaki as Ado Sukinanoka
- Eriko Matsui as Ronri Fukai
- Rimi Nishimoto as Unne Sonosaki
- Marie Miyake as Endō-san
The first and second episodes of the short will be featured as a bonus extra on the first Blu-ray Disc volume release of the main Luck & Logic anime series, which ships on March 25. The second Blu-ray Disc volume release will feature the third and fourth episodes of the short when it ships on April 22, the third Blu-ray Disc volume release will feature the fifth and sixth episodes when it ships on May 27, and the fourth Blu-ray Disc volume release will feature the seventh episode when it ships on June 24.
The anime short features the same returning staff from the main anime series: director Takashi Naoya, character designer and concept designer Mari Shimazaki, original concept creator and series composition writer Yuuya Takahashi, character designer and chief animation director Katsuhiro Kumagai, and animation studio Doga Kobo.
The anime short also serves as an advertisement for Bushiroad's Luck & Logic trading card game, which Bushiroad shipped in Japan with two starter decks and one booster pack on January 28. Bushiroad plans to release the trading card game in English this summer.
The Luck and Logic project is a collaboration between Bushiroad, Bandai Visual, Doga Kobo Nitroplus, Lantis, and Yuhodo. The main television anime series premiered in Japan on January 9. Funimation is streaming the series in North America as it airs. Crunchyroll is streaming the series in Spain and Portugal, and Daisuki and Anime Lab are also streaming the series outside of North America.
