1st volume launches alongside Ace of Diamond, All-Rounder Meguru

Kodansha Comics released the first volume of Masaya Tsunamoto and Tsujitomo's Giant Killing manga digitally on Tuesday. Kodansha Comics also released two other sports manga, Ace of the Diamond and All-Rounder Meguru, on several digital platforms on Tuesday.

Kodansha Comics describes the story of Giant Killing:

A truly great coach makes a game of soccer interesting! Tatsumi Takeshi is 35 and has spent the last few years coaching in England before being brought back to Japan to coach his old team. His favorite pastime? Causing giant upsets—aka Giant Killing!

Kodansha's Weekly Morning first published Giant Killing in 2007, and the 42nd compiled volume shipped on October 21 in Japan. The series inspired a 2010 television anime, which Crunchyroll streamed as it aired in Japan. Crunchyroll removed the anime from its site in November 2012.
