Senran Kagura Franchise Gets New App Game in 2026
posted on by Anita Tai
The staff for the Senran Kagura franchise announced during the special livestream for the "Shinomasu Expo 81" event on Saturday that Marvelous and Honey∞Parade Games are developing a new app game for a 2026 launch. Nan Yaegashi (Senran Kagura Shinovi Master, Assault Lily Bouquet) is designing the characters for the game known for now as "Project N."

The new game is set three years after the events of the Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link smartphone game with a new cast of Shinobi girls at a new school. The staff will announce "Project N's" formal title, release date, and other details in the future.
Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link launched in November 2017 and ended service on May 30. The game transitioned to an "offline version" so fans could continue to experience the story, costume customization, and dioramas. The offline version is available for iOS and Android but not on DMM Games.
Marvelous established the Honey∞Parade Games subsidiary in May 2017 to focus on the production and promotion of the Senran Kagura series.
The latest console game in the franchise is a crossover game with Compile Heart's Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise. Compile Heart's Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars (Senran Nin Nin Ninja Taisen Neptune) crossover action RPG launched in October 2021 for PlayStation 4, and then launched for Nintendo Switch in April 2022, and on PC via Steam in May 2022.
The Senran Kagura Run smartphone game debuted last year to commemorate the seventh anniversary of Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link.
